Introduction Adolescence can be seen as a fundamental stage of life for the construction subject, resulting from childhood experiences and decisive adulthood. It is common stressors to appear during adolescence, due lack necessary resources deal with stressful problem or event. In this way, evaluation situation by adolescent important, because it he will develop coping strategies that help him problem. Stressful experiences, whether important events even annoyances, threaten adolescent’s well-being, in addition being linked mental health behavior problems, both internalizing ones, such isolation, somatic complaints anxiety/depression, well externalizing factors breaking rules aggressive behavior. Romantic relationships are related major source stress lives these young people when conflicts, jealousy, aggression infidelity occur, have great impact on individuals involved. Breakups, example, been onset clinical depression adolescents. There three categories concern adolescents: (a) achievements, success school opportunity future; (b) colleagues family members; (c) social problems environment, poverty unemployment. Objectives To identify describe adolescents public schools poor community Brazil. Methods The study included 64 adolescents, boys (51.56%) girls (48.43%), aged between 12 16 years old (average 13.76%). Adolescent Perceived Events Scale (APES) was used, which consists 90 items correspond may occur daily life. Results most significant were those dealing death close people, friend (100%), member (96.29%) relative (94.73%). Also appearing “plans did not work” (91.89%), use alcohol drugs members (87.5%), loss job parents (75%), imprisonment fights boyfriend girlfriend (86.66%), breakup (75%) about their own appearance (76.52%). Conclusions referring interpersonal considered greatest stressors, percentages above 80%. present contributed understanding adolescents’ perceptions events. we understand relationship strategies.
